If a couple faces fertility problems, it can cause a whole of stress and pain to both. This is especially true when the couple is desperate to start a family and cannot figure out with whom the problem lies. However, research has show that in nearly 40 percent of couples with fertility problems, the problem is always with the male counterpart. And that is why many men who are facing fertility problems like to take male fertility vitamins as supplements to enhance their sperm count.

Male Fertility Vitamins:

Mentioned below are few male fertility vitamins that are known to help men in their sperm count and other fertility issues.

- Vitamin C: If a man does not have enough vitamin C in his body, the sperms tend to clump together and this hinders the movement and mobility of the sperms. Research has shown the vitamin C intake helps those men who smoke and have high number of sperms that are abnormally formed. It is believed that taking vitamin C, smokers can neutralize the harmful effects that smoke has on sperm. The recommended dietary allowance for an adult male is 60 milligrams but certain doctors feel that men should take around 200 to 1,000 milligrams a day in order for vitamin C to be beneficial for sperms.

- Vitamin E: Vitamin E plays a very important role when it comes to the production of sperm. If a man has low levels of vitamin E, that man will have low levels of hormones and enzymes which are responsible for urging the production of sperm. In addition, taking vitamin E also helps with the mobility of sperms.

- Zinc: If a man has low levels of zinc in the body, he will suffer from low levels of testosterone and the sperms produced will not be healthy. Therefore, a daily dosage of 15 milligrams helps the sperm count to become normal in about 12 months.
